Yesterday we asked if you could figure out where in Moortown this image was taken in the 1950s. If you have a keen-eye, you will probably see the road sign in the picture, so we hope you found this one easy!

In Moortown, the forecast predicts light rain with a gentle breeze throughout the day. The day will start with a cool 6°C in the early morning and will rise slightly to a high of 9°C.

Moortown Slimming World is adding a new session for the new year. The sessions will be at 08:00, 09:30 and 11:00. This is hosted at Marjorie And Arnold Ziff Community Centre.
New Year’s Day Paddle Boarders at Roundhay Park
On New Year’s Day, an impressive crowd attended Roundhay Park to watch members of local clubs paddle board across Waterloo Lake. The teams from Leeds Dock Paddle Boarding and White Rose Canoe Club wore wild and wacky costumes whilst taking part.

Leeds United Secures a Commanding Victory!
In our latest Championship match, Leeds United delivered a stellar performance, securing a 3-0 victory over Birmingham.
