Moortown Local Scoop- Wednesday 3rd April 2024

Wednesday 3rd April 2024

Good Morning, Moortown!

We have a classic British springtime on our hands. Starting with a downpour and a cool 9°C in the morning, it’ll brighten up around midday to give us a glimmer of hope (and sun) at 11°C.

Is that thunder I see?

But don’t put those umbrellas away just yet – those rain chances linger around 80%, dropping to 19% by the evening.

As night falls, expect the clouds to part a bit, leaving us with a slightly chilly 8°C and a much-appreciated dry spell. Stay cozy, everyone!

Summer Touch Rugby

Touch rugby is a no-contact ball game, where two sides play against each other, with the aim of scoring a try at the end of the pitch.

As long as you are mobile, can run (short bursts - we aren’t talking marathons) and can carry a rugby ball - you can absolutely play.

Hosted at the Moortown Rugby Club, 18+, 7 pm - 8:30 pm
