The yellow wind warning is set to conclude at 3pm today, but until then, expect some brisk gusts.
Today's forecast shows a mix of clouds and sunshine peaking through, with temperatures sitting comfortably around 9°C. Winds will start to ease off as we head into the evening, dropping to a cooler 6°C by midnight.
Perfect for a walk if you're wrapped up warm - just watch out for those lingering gusts!
Wednesday, 24th January
If you or a loved one is living with dementia, MAECare are hosting a Swimming Memories event. This is a friendly group for those living with dementia who love sport. This is 11am - 12:30pm, at Cranmer Bank.
Don’t forget MAECare’s Wednesday Welcome. People can call in for a coffee, to play games, get digital help or just have a chat. The time slot is anytime between 1:30pm-3:30pm at Cranmber Bank.
The Leeds Jewish Community is proudly hosting a fundraising event for the United Jewish Israel Appeal (UJIA). This is at 7:30pm-10pm.
Thursday, 25th January
Again, MAECare has their usual Thursday activities, from Active Minds, Chair Based Dance, Knit and Natter and Walking Football. Click the link below for more information on the times and locations.
Roundhay Forest School
Children are free to explore at their leisure and follow their curiosity, all under the watchful guidance of a Level 3 qualified Forest School instructor.
The activities at the Forest School are designed to match the seasonal changes and invariably involve tools and mud – essential elements for an authentic Forest School experience. It's an ideal setting for children to learn, play, and grow in nature.
Each Forest School session concludes with a warming cup of hot chocolate and a story, making it a perfect end to a day of adventure and learning.
