Wednesday 10th April 2024
It’s raining again… what a surprise!

North Leeds Charity Beer Festival
Get ready for the North Leeds Charity Beer Festival, the annual event that turns sipping into support for local charities!
Hosted at the North Leeds Cricket Club on April 12th and 13th, it promises a diverse line-up of over 40 local brews, including non-alcoholic, gluten-free, and vegan options.
The festival, organised by the Rotary Club of Roundhay, is a fundraising fiesta with proceeds aiding local causes. Family-friendly activities abound on Saturday afternoon, with free admission for kids and a medley of musical acts across both days to keep the vibe alive.

Planning for Progress: Leeds Jewish Housing Association Moves Forward
Leeds Jewish Housing Association (LJHA) is taking a proactive step towards the development of its properties.
The planning application is live for community feedback on Leeds City Council’s portal, open for comments until April 26th.
As part of the process, residents are being rehomed within other LJHA properties. To ensure the soon-to-be vacated homes remain in use, LJHA has partnered with Turning Lives Around to provide emergency housing for those in urgent need.
Managed in collaboration with Leeds City Council, this initiative reflects LJHA's commitment to both community development and social responsibility.
