Free Inner North East Community Committee Summer Dance Camp 2024
There is a FREE Carnival-themed week of fun, friendship, and fitness at the RJC Dance Youth Provision's Summer Dance Camp.
The camp runs from Monday, July 29th to Friday, August 2nd, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm each day at the Mandela Centre, Chapeltown Road, LS7 3HY.
Open to young people aged 9-17 who are new to RJC Dance, no prior dance experience is necessary.

The group will meet every alternate Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30, beginning on Tuesday, July 30th.
This supportive environment is open to anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss and is looking for a safe space to share and connect with others.

17 Bikes Security Marked at St Urbans Primary School
On Friday, July 12th, PCSO's from Team 2 visited St Urban's Primary School in Moortown to offer bike marking services. They successfully security-marked 17 bikes and registered them on the national bike register, enhancing the security and recovery chances for the students' bicycles.

New Leeds Barber Shop and Coffee Lounge
The Clubhouse Leeds has submitted a planning application to transform units 38-40 in the Victoria Quarter into a new high-end barber shop and coffee lounge. The plans, submitted on June 13, 2024, include internal alterations to create this stylish new venue.
This development aims to add a unique blend of grooming services and café culture to the bustling shopping area, enhancing the overall experience for visitors to the Victoria Quarter.

Moortown to Host 2023 Boys Amateur Championship for the Fifth Time
Moortown will host the 2023 Boys Amateur Championship from August 12-17, its fifth time and first since 1972. The prestigious junior event has notable past winners like Sergio Garcia and Matthew Fitzpatrick. Concurrently, the Girls Amateur will be held at nearby Alwoodley.
The winner gains entry into The Amateur Championship and Final Qualifying for The Open. Last year’s winner, Kris Kim, secured the title after a dramatic play-off, continuing his impressive form from other junior tournaments.
