A New Dementia Café Comes to North Leeds

A new dementia café, "Forget-Me-Not Community Café," is opening at St. Andrews URC Church, Shaftsbury Avenue, LS8 1DS.

It will operate on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, starting on August 6th. The café will serve tea, coffee, sandwiches, and cakes, and will offer singalongs and support for carers.

Year 2 Graduation Assembly at Moortown Primary School

Moortown Primary School invites Year 2 parents and carers to a special 'graduation assembly' on 4th July 2024 at 2:30 PM.

As the children approach the end of Key Stage 1, this assembly will celebrate their achievements, particularly in reading.

Attendees will witness the children reading with fluency, enjoy a daily poem, and participate in a mini phonics lesson. It’s a wonderful opportunity to share in the children's journey to becoming proficient readers.
