Lingfield Fisheries in Moortown Closes After 14 Years of Service
Lingfield Fisheries, a cherished fish and chip shop on the Lingfield Estate in Moortown, has closed its doors after 14 years of serving the community.
The owner, Martyn, announced the immediate closure on Wednesday, August 21, via Facebook, expressing gratitude to the customers who supported the business over the years.
Martyn assured everyone that he and his mother were fine and are simply moving on to new endeavours. The announcement prompted an outpouring of well-wishes from loyal customers.
