Where do you think this photo was taken in the local area in 1989?
A mostly dry and cloudy day with occasional sunshine and a gentle cool-off as night falls.
Moortown's Tuesday starts overcast at 11°C, with a slight chance of rain early on.
As the sun peeks through, we'll see temperatures gently rise, hitting 13°C around midday.
It's a mostly cloudy affair with some sunny spells throughout the afternoon, and the temperatures stay steady at 13°C.
Come evening, the clouds persist but it's all dry, as we cool down to 10°C by 8 p.m., heading towards a chillier 9°C by midnight.

- Details: At the Pat Fulgoni Blues Experience you will find that it features talented musicians from the Leeds scene including Jacob Beckwith on guitar, Rory Wells on bass, Sam Bolt on keys and Zebedee Sylvester on drums.

- Time: 7 PM
- Details: An event that features the next generation gems of talent to emerge from Leeds, are presenting their first solo performances on sitar and santoor.
Sunday, 24th March
Social Club Entertainment
- Location: Cranmer Gardens LS17 5LA Leeds
- Details: An event that is hosted every week. The event promises entertainment which is revealed on the day via social media. The club also hosts Bingo and a raffle alongside, so it should be an entertaining night.

- Start Date: Saturday, 8th June
- Details: Wander amongst the beautiful flower beds, admire the water features and our blossoming kitchen garden. Enjoy delicious cakes take part in the tombola and raffle browse gifts and buy beautiful plants all to raise vital funds for the Hospice.

Winter Sports Day Triumph at Carr Manor!
Carr Manor pupils showed true sportsmanship in last week's Winter Sports Day, diving into a flurry of activities like table tennis, 'clubbercise', dodgeball, and team sports including rugby, netball, and football.
A huge congratulations to all the students who participated and competed with such vigour for their Houses.

Moortown Rugby Club Faces a Tough Match
In an intense clash this weekend, the Moortown Rugby Club faced a challenging game against Morley.
Despite a strong effort, Moortown finished with 12 points to Morley's 40. The match, held on Saturday, 16th March 2024, was a part of the Regional 2 North East competition.
The team looks forward to learning from this experience and coming back stronger in their next game.
