Roundhay Family's Struggle for Shelter After House Fire

A devastating house fire in the Roundhay area of Leeds has left a family of four homeless and living out of their car.

The family lost all their possessions in the fire and has been staying in a hotel at their own expense. The fire, which destroyed their home on Grange Park Terrace, was an accidental electrical ignition.

Despite reaching out for help, the family has yet to receive assistance and is appealing to the community for support through a GoFundMe campaign.

You can donate to the fundraiser for the family, here.

Moortown RUFC Fixtures Released

On Saturday the 23rd at home we have the 1st XV playing against the Old Crossleyans at 3 pm, depending on other fixtures’ results this could take Moortown RUFC to 7th place in the division.

Then we have the Marauders who play away at the same time against Leodensians. The other two teams have this day off, so although not a full day of rugby it should still be an exciting one.
