New Residential Plans From Leeds City Council
Thursday 14th March 2024
Good morning, Moortown readers!
Looks like Moortown is in for a bit of a mixed bag today. We're starting off with some cloudy skies in the morning, keeping things cool at around 10°C, but don't let that fool you into leaving your umbrella at home. There's a slight chance of rain throughout the morning, and by lunchtime, those chances are looking a bit more like a promise.
In the afternoon, the temperature is going to creep up to a slightly warmer 13-14°C, and we'll see some breaks in the clouds—maybe even a glimpse of the sun around 3 and 4 p.m.
As we slide into the evening, the rain should ease off, leaving us with a dry night and temps holding steady at 12°C before dipping to a cool 11°C as we wave goodbye to the day.

Young Player To Get First Team Opportunity
Leeds United's promising young midfielder, Charlie Crew, has his sights set on progressing to the first-team lineup. After moving from Cardiff City, Crew has quickly climbed the ranks, playing a pivotal role for the Under-21s and earning a call-up to Wales' Under-21 squad.
He's also committed his international future to Wales, despite interest from England. Crew's ambitions are fueled by the clear pathway laid out by both Wales and Leeds, and he's seen as one with potential that must be translated into performance. He's the youngest and the only player born in 2006 in the current Wales Under-21 squad.
