Moortown Drug Ring Dismantled: Key Figures Face Justice

In a serious clampdown on local drug activities, the Leeds Crown Court has dealt with key players of a "ring and bring" drug operation.

Kyle Bucknall, already serving a sentence for a car theft ring, received an added 18-month sentence for managing a narcotics supply chain. Rachel Bennett, a central figure in the operation, channeled over £8,300 of drug money through her bank accounts.

Both acknowledged their roles in cocaine and cannabis supply and money laundering. Their illicit activities spanned 2021-2022 and were exposed following Bucknall's arrest for the car thefts.

Bennett, previously given a suspended sentence for her part in the vehicle thefts, now faces 28 months in prison. Kimberley Milton, involved in managing the operation's finances, received a suspended sentence due to her vulnerability and mental health issues.
