Leeds Compassionate City Awards: Open for Nominations!

Expect a beautiful, sunny day with temperatures starting at 13°C in the early morning and rising to a peak of 25°C by the afternoon.
The day will remain clear and sunny with apparently no chance of rain until early evening when there is a slight 12% chance of rain around 18:00 and 19:00.
Winds will be gentle, varying from 4 km/h to 11 km/h throughout the day, predominantly from the south. The evening will cool down to 18°C by 23:00, with partly cloudy skies.

Free Inner North East Community Committee Summer Dance Camp 2024
There is a FREE Carnival-themed week of fun, friendship, and fitness at the RJC Dance Youth Provision's Summer Dance Camp.
The camp runs from Monday, July 29th to Friday, August 2nd, 2024, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm each day at the Mandela Centre, Chapeltown Road, LS7 3HY.
Open to young people aged 9-17 who are new to RJC Dance, no prior dance experience is necessary.

Monday 29th July
The Shadwell Parish Council is hosting an Internet and Mobile Phone drop-in session for older people on Monday, 29th July, from 10:30 to 12:30 at Shadwell Library.
An accredited trainer from AgeUK Leeds will lead the session. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are unsure about using the internet or mobile phones or who want to ensure online safety. No prior attendance or registration is necessary; simply turn up on the day.
Tuesday 30th July
Pregnancy Loss Support Group at The Old Fire Station in Gipton.
The group will meet every alternate Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:30, beginning on Tuesday, July 30th.
This supportive environment is open to anyone who has experienced pregnancy loss and is looking for a safe space to share and connect with others.
