Roundhay Family Escapes Unharmed After Tree Crashes Through Roof During Storm
A family in Roundhay, Leeds, had a narrow escape when a tree crashed through the roof of their home during strong winds caused by Storm Lilian.
Rosamund Booth and her husband had previously raised concerns about the tree's safety but were told it was protected by a Tree Preservation Order.
The incident caused significant damage but no injuries. The Booths are still in shock and believe the situation could have been prevented if their concerns had been addressed.
