Cannabis Farm Uncovered in Moortown

Leeds North East Neighbourhood Police Team discovered a cannabis farm in a residential area of Moortown on 27 March 2024.

Plants were seized and dangerous electrical tampering was addressed to make the property safe. Investigations are ongoing.

Police urge the public to report suspected cannabis farms and any related criminal activity.

The Moortown Methodist Church is hosting a Kids Healthy Holidays Camp from 8th to 12th April, 9 am - 1 pm. Aimed at children aged 7 and up, the camp features fun activities and a nutritious lunch.

Leeds United's Struijk Ends Season with Determined Farewell

Leeds United's Pascal Struijk has been sidelined for the remainder of the season following surgery. His last significant play, a penalty in the match against Preston North End, showcased his influence in the team's hopeful push towards promotion.
