The weather forecast indicates that the morning will start cool at 7°C with partly cloudy skies. As the morning progresses, there will be intervals of clouds and sun with temperatures rising slightly to 8°C by 9 AM and reaching 9°C by 11 AM.

The afternoon will continue with similar conditions, hovering around 9°C to 10°C with a mix of clouds and sun.

- Details: An event that is hosted every week. The event promises entertainment which is revealed on the day via social media. The club also hosts Bingo and a raffle alongside, so it should be an entertaining night.

A Family Event in Moortown for a Charitable Cause

Moortown is set to host Angel Fest 2024, a family-friendly festival at the Moortown Rugby Club on May 25. Organised to support two cherished causes, Homeless Street Angels and St Gemma's Hospice, the event will feature a DJ lineup, food stalls, children's entertainment, and more.

This celebration of community and charity in Moortown aims to aid the vulnerable and those requiring palliative care while providing a day of joy and fun for families.

Council Apologise For Wrong Directions Painted On The Road

Leeds City Council has come out and apologised for a road in the Moortown area being painted with the wrong directions. The paint was incorrectly put down as Meanwood rather than Cith Centre confusing a lot of motorists on the road.

Though a small error, comments on social media express distress and see this as a waste of taxpayer money. The mistake was fixed on Sunday 17th.

Cup Game For Young Leopards

North Leeds Leopards Rugby Club have their under-12’s team in a big game this weekend. It is a cup game and it kicks off at 11:00 am on Saturday. They are going into the game against the Milford Marlins, with North Leeds being on an amazing streak in recent games.

The two games at the beginning of March had North Leeds beat both teams by a margin of almost 20 points in both games! This will hopefully be carried on into this Saturday but whichever way the result goes we know they will do their best.
