Group Guitar Classes for Kids

This group guitar class is catered for kids who want to learn the guitar, between the ages of 6 and 14. Help can be had at all levels, from beginner and up to experienced levels. The class is a relaxed environment to help the kids have a great time learning and creating music on the guitar. The session starts at 4:00pm.

An event hosted at the Alwoodley Community Association between 10:00am - 5:00pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

Community Unites in Chapel Allerton Against Little Owls Nursery Closure

Residents and campaigners in Chapel Allerton have rallied together in a show of solidarity against the proposed closure of the Little Owls Nurseries. In a recent demonstration, concerned community members gathered outside council offices, voicing their discontent with the decision that affects families throughout Leeds, including the Chapel Allerton area.

The local council has signalled a delay in the closures, possibly giving the campaigners and the affected communities some respite and additional time to seek alternative solutions.

The nurseries are a vital part of the local infrastructure, supporting early childhood development and allowing parents to manage work and family commitments.
