Chapel Allerton Community Market

The Chapel Allerton Community Market is a vibrant local event held on the first Sunday of every month from May 5th, 2024, to December 1st, 2024.

Located on Regent Street in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, the market features around 40 local artisans showcasing homeware, jewellery, art, clothing, and food. From June, the event will also include a charity car boot sale and food vans at the primary school.

The market runs from 10:00 AM and is free to attend with no need for prior booking.

Sunday 19th May - Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride

The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride (DGR) is an annual charity event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for prostate cancer and men’s mental health. This year, the event is set to commence from Grange Park in Wetherby, navigating through Moortown, and concluding at Roundhay Park.

As of now, the ride boasts the participation of approximately 130 motorcyclists, who will don their finest attire to promote this noble cause.

The day is not only about the ride but also a family-friendly fun day featuring a variety of activities. Three bands will provide live music, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the day. Attendees can enjoy performances and possibly other engaging activities suitable for all ages.
